Jacobs Well Tourist Park

After seven months and over $10,000 spent on the Porsche we finally got to go on our first camping trip.

Jacobs Well Tourist Park was chosen for two reasons. First, it was somewhere I used to go as a kid, fishing, boating and I haven't been back for many years and second it is very close to home just incase something went drastically wrong. Thankfully everything went great. 😀

We had a lot to learn on this first trip, putting up the tent, using the cooking and kitchen equipment, the solar system and fridge all for the first time.
It all went really well, we had a fantastic time and we can't wait for the next weekend camping get away.

This is the first of many weekend trips we have planned in and around southeast Queensland and northern New South Wales and eventually would love to do much longer tours around Australia.
