It’s been a little while since our last update—life and work have been keeping us busy, and we’ve also been focused on saving up to get some important maintenance done on the Porsche. But the wait is over: the car is now in the shop, and we’re getting the front struts and shock absorbers, tie rod ends, ball joints, wheel bearings, and steering rack dust boots all replaced.
I dropped the car off on Thursday morning, and initially, the shop expected it to be ready by Friday afternoon. However, I got a call Friday morning letting me know that the struts would take a bit longer to arrive. No worries though—we’re in no rush, and our first camping trip isn’t for a few weeks yet, so the timing works out perfectly.
There are still a few other tasks to tackle on the Porsche, but none of them are urgent or affect drivability. Some we’ll handle before heading out, and the rest can wait until later.
Even so, we couldn’t be more excited! With these upgrades underway, we’re one step closer to our first adventure, and we can’t wait to share every moment of the journey with you. Stay tuned—big things are coming!
